Better analysis: one giant leap toward REACH compliance

Since REACH pre-registration it has become evident that ECHA expects appropriate, valid analytical data in dossier submissions. With registration deadlines fast approaching, now is the time to gather the measurement data needed to pass the initial compliance checks.
The UK Government Chemist is appointed by the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) to advise on analytical measurement for regulatory compliance. On 12 November 2009 it was the turn of the Humber chemical community to host our annual stakeholder event, with the spotlight on science for REACH compliance. This free half-day seminar was open to all, drawing in regulatory, industry-led and scientific advice.
